The “Networks Days 2013″(JRES), organized by RENATER (Owner of the National Telecommunications Network Technology Education and Research) took place in Montpellier (France) at the Corum the last 10th of December.
Supported this year by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, the JRES aim to meet every 2 years actors and contributors to the development of new technologies in higher education and research institutions.
MERETHIS was associated with five other companies from Toulouse (France) which are members of the Solibre association : Anyware Services, Avencall, Blue Mind, Makina Corpus and Objectif Libre.
The feedbacks were very positive. As we had previously indicated in our newsletter of November 19th 2013 and as felt at the show, Centreon is widely deployed in universities and is highly appreciated!
Throughout these four days, many conferences about feedback on ITIL topics, organization and IT strategy, network, security, etc were organized.
One of them, the University of Strasbourg showed how Centreon participated in the implementation of ITIL, including in the process “Availability Management” and “Event Management”. The speaker described Centreon as “an excellent monitoring tool”, and he highlighted the ability to customize screens, to industrialize deployments over a very large architecture, the opened interfaces that allow integration with other tools and the dynamism of the community.
If you have not been able to get to this presentation, you can see the video (french version) on the JRES website.
Note that many Centreon information is available on our web site Centreon and our sales team is at your disposal to arrange a personal demonstration, do not hesitate contacting us !
