Feedbacks from this event: Centreon was present in Abidjan with his partner Smile in Ivory Coast for the morning Open Source Management Day 2015 and the Digital Enterprise Days on 8 and 9 April.

Smile CI offered its customers a morning on the discovery of free software and open source. For the occasion, their partners, such as Centreon for the monitoring workshop or Wallix for safety workshop accompanied the Smile CI integrator and presented their customers experience feedbacks in the development of their solutions.

The event began with a presentation of SMILE and its offerings, by Alain ARDITI (Hosting Director and CSO/RSSI at Smile) accompanied by the General Director of Smile CI , Patrick Kouassi; then feedbacks from Centreon and Wallix.

The day ended with a speech by the General Director of Smile CI, Patrick Kouassi on the contributions of free software for Ivorian companies and ministries.

This first event led to the second edition of the “Journées de l’entreprise Numérique” (Days of the Digital business), which took place on Thursday 9 and Friday, April 10 also in Abidjan at the House of Enterprise. The objective of these two days is to bring together major stakeholders and IT experts and share their visions, advices on IT strategies.

Centreon presented his solution on the Smile CI stand with a demo machine and discuss with participants of open source solutions.

These events look like to the show Solution Linux (for those who know) with lectures, roundtables and various stands, all in a very friendly atmosphere.

The conferences filled with diffrent IT themes had the common theme the digital governance and digitization services. Thus, the Free Software and Open Source are playing an increasingly important discussions because they allow ministries and the African companies to accelerate the development and deployment of digital infrastructure.

This displacement was filled with meetings and very rewarding!
