Feedback from Solutions Linux 2014

This post is also available in: French

The Centreon community and us participated in the associative village at Solutions Linux which took place at the CNIT Paris La Défense from May 20th to 21st of year 2014.

Once again, we had the opportunity to interact with Centreon users, contributors and people who were looking for IT monitoring solutions.
As always, your problematics caught our attention and your feedbacks were much appreciated. The main topics were auto-scalable monitoring for applications (application for cloud) and the provisionning of resources to integrate into the configuration of monitored objects.

This event allowed us to meet Open Source actors such as OpenStack, GLPI, Fusion Directory and Monitoring FR. After some rich exchange with you, we now have some new interesting ideas that might be the solutions to your problematics.
The key words of this meeting were the free and private Cloud, interconnections between applications (API usage), Big Data with tools such as ElasticSearch or the new features of MariaDB (the successor of MySQL).

At last, we sincerely thank all of you for having come to visit us. Thanks for all the cool ideas and feedbacks that you shared with us during this event. Of course, we would like to thank Charles Judith (aka CJudith ), Cédric Temple (aka ctemple), Olivier Li-Kiang-Cheong (aka LKCO) and all FAN and Monitoring-FR teams.

Find more information on the offical website.
And if you missed our last event, you can still make it up and find us at the BarCamp on June 14th, 2014 in Paris or even at the RMLL in Montpellier early July.
